6. When Marlin Thinks Nemo Is Dead
Devastation Rating: 8/10 'WAKE UP FISHY!' While these are the words screamed by crazy Darla, it's pretty certain that Marlin was screaming something along the same lines in his own head. After journeying thousands of miles across the ocean to find his son dead in a plastic bag, there's surely no one on earth who didn't find that moment of Marlin's nightmares coming to life truly depressing. The thing that makes it so so so sad is how Marlin's character has been on such a transition in his quest, and he's such a likeable character now. And then he has his heart broken on a grand scale for the second time in the film; that terrible look in his clown fish eyes will be imprinted on your own eyelids for a long time still to come.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
