12. The Ultimate Predator Wants Autistic DNA - The Predator

The Predator is a movie so inane that the last-minute reveal of a bad CGI Iron Man-esque suit dubbed "The Predator Killer" somehow wasn't the silliest thing fans had to suffer through.

Rather, the prior reveal that the "Ultimate Predator" isn't seeking out battle-hardened marine Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) but instead his autistic son Rory (Jacob Tremblay) takes the gold.

With scientist Casey (Olivia Munn) mentioning to Quinn earlier in the film that some scientists consider autism to be a higher form of human evolution, the implication is clear, that the Upgrade believes it can become a stronger hunter by injecting some of that sweet, sweet autism.

And this was an idea ass-pulled by Shane Black of all people. It's almost so dumb it circle all the way back around to become smart again, but not quite.
