13 Films You Won't Believe Turn 10 Years Old In 2015
10. Batman Begins
The Movie: Christopher Nolan completely changed the landscape of the comic book movie and even the Hollywood blockbuster as a whole with his superbly gritty, intelligent, muscular reboot of the Batman franchise. Christian Bale established himself as a Batman for the ages, and surrounded by a superb cast (especially Michael Caine and Liam Neeson), Nolan delivered a thrilling, character-driven masterpiece. Why It Doesn't Feel 10 Years Old: This is another movie that feels older than a decade given how much has happened with both the Hollywood blockbuster and the Batman franchise itself. It's difficult to believe that the gritty aesthetic that dominates tentpole films these days has only been around for about ten years, and that, a trilogy of Batman films later, along with a Batman v Superman team-up being on the way, all of this has been achieved in such a short period of time. This is the sort of movie so iconic that it just feels like it's been around forever.
