9. Zapping Bruce Banner (The Avengers)

When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner were researching in to Loki's sceptre aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (with Steve Rogers also present at the time), Stark had been questioning Banner about his tendency to turn in to "an enormous green rage monster" - the Hulk, with whom Stark was clearly fascinated. Having been surprised at how well he had the problem under control, Stark approached Banner from behind and gave him an electric shock, with the intention being to anger Banner enough to turn him in to the Hulk. This obviously angered Steve Rogers, who gave Stark a stern telling off, but the fact that Stark was prepared to be aboard a Helicarrier with the Hulk potentially rampaging through it, while stupid, was also bad-ass as hell.
