8. Using Jonah As A Role Model (The Avengers)

In the epic final Avengers battle with the Chitauri in New York, a number of gigantic half organic-half mechanical creatures that have become known as "space whales" emerged from the portal in the sky. These things were damaging the sky scrapers in New York as they moved past them - they were that big. Only Hulk and Thor had shown the ability to damage them - Hulk with his nearly unlimited strength and Thor with his godlike powers. Tony Stark, even in his Iron Man armour, seemingly had no chance. When Stark asked him to find a "soft spot" to attack, his in-built artificial inteliigence, JARVIS, informed him that their armour was practically impenetrable. Stark then proceeded to say "JARVIS, have you heard the tale of Jonah?", at which point JARVIS replied "I wouldn't consider him a role model" (Jonah being a character who was swallowed by a whale). Stark then launched himself inside the space whale, via its mouth, and took it down from the inside. Awesome.
