Nominations: Short of a disaster, Best Picture, Director, Actor (Michael Fassbender), Supporting Actor (Seth Rogen), Supporting Actress (Kate Winslet), Adapted Screenplay and Film Editing all seem like solid bets. 7 nominations. What It Could Win: Rogen would be fantastic to see, though much like Fassbender, they're both "could" rather than "will" simply because these fields tend to be hyper-competitive and there's so many potentially amazing performances waiting in the wings. What It Will Win: If this one lives up to the promise, then it just might steal away Best Picture, and Aaron Aorkin's screenplay is probably a slam dunk, so assuming neither nominated actor can go all the way, expect 2 wins, even though that is admittedly an extremely low number for a Best Picture winner.
