13 Movies That Made Being A Bad Guy Look Incredibly Cool
10. The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013)
What can be said about this one that hasn't already been said? The most recent film on the list, and certainly the most provocative, Martin Scorsese's The Wolf Of Wall Street is an in-depth exploration in debauchery and greed. Critics have accused the film as being pornographic in nature; explicit to the core. But those same critics have heaped praise upon praise on the film. Inspired by true events and the book of the same name, we follow Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) as he leads a gabble of money-mad, crooked stockbrokers through party after party in a three hour rollercoaster ride of X-rated cinema. While the runtime may seem somewhat excessive, Scorsese fills it to the brim with sex, drugs and...more sex and drugs. Belfort's story may not be one Hollywood needed to tell, but with the charm Leo DiCaprio brings to his role, it was one the audience could lap up. Apparently working on Wall Street has the upside of unlimited parties, booze and women, not to mention the mountains of cash. He's a right filthy b*****d, but we loved him for it.
