13 Outrageously Awful 2014 Performances That Deserve Razzies

5. Theo James Tobias "Four" Eaton - Divergent

In fairness, picking just one actor from Divergent who might be Razzie-worthy was a challenge, especially when the other guy was Jai freaking Courtney. Poor though he is in the lame young adult adaptation, it's romantic interest Theo James, playing Tobias "Four" Eaton, who seems truly carved out of wood here. Though some reviews have praised both James and lead actress Shailene Woodley for making the best of a bad script, it's really Woodley who does most of the leg-work, because James comes across as a hilariously blunt object throughout, making him and his character largely forgettable above all else. In addition, James is just far too old for the part, clocking in at 28 years of age when filming began, making him almost 7 years older than Woodley, when in the books, they was merely a two-year difference. This sticks out noticeably and has proven rather distracting for fans of the source material, if not for anyone else, too.
