13 Outrageously Awful 2014 Performances That Deserve Razzies

2. Kellan Lutz As Hercules - The Legend Of Hercules

Alright, so basically any actor alive would be screwed if a competing Hercules movie starred Dwayne freaking Johnson, but was Kellan Lutz even really trying in Renny Harlin's risible take on the mythic figure? Though Lutz hasn't exactly astounded in his higher-profile offerings like Twilight and The Expendables 3, he at least seemed awake, whereas here, the trim young actor has about as much charisma as a brick wall. He does well enough in the frequently slow-motion set-pieces, but when it comes to talking, the guy just can't make the (admittedly bland) dialogue believable or especially interesting. Still, let's not take it easy on him: Lutz was truly terrible in anything outside of the action, failing to convince as the mythic figure and feeling more like a crappy high school Herc rather than one who Millennium Films banked a literally insane $70 million on.
