With colossal $200+ million budgets, it's no surprise that the Bond films are, for the most part, technical marvels: they look and sound fantastic, but they sadly still don't seem to get the visual effects quite right. The Pierce Brosnan films went full-WTF with the infamous wave-riding sequence in Die Another Day, and though Craig's films have been a lot more grounded, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre have all had wildly unconvincing composite shots of Craig being green-screened into a location, or CGI elements (such as exploding buildings) being pasted behind him. And then there's that Godawful CGI snow plane from Spectre. It's amazing that such expensive films can't get basic things right, but for the love of God, please pump some more money into the effects next time, or maybe consider hiring a different VFX studio otherwise.
