4. Black Manta Double-Crosses Orm - Aquaman

With recent rumours suggesting that Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) will appear in Aquaman's post-credits scene, where he's set up as the primary villain for the planned sequel, this has caused some to suspect that Manta may have a deeper-than-expected role in the upcoming film.

It's already been widely speculated that the masked villain ends up hired by Atlantis' ruler Orm (Patrick Wilson) to take out Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and what a twist it'd be if Black Manta ends up turning on him at an opportune moment.

It'd be an easy way to throw Orm off his game and also establish Black Manta as a devious, Machiavellian schemer ahead of Aquaman 2. Considering he's a fan favourite villain and sure to be one of the movie's highlights, it all just sounds right.
