13 Upcoming Movie Sequels We Really Don’t Need

8. Step Up: All In (July 25)

Most people won't need much convincing that this movie is a terrible idea, because the Step Up movies have given us one truly good thing through four movies, and that's the career of Channing Tatum. Still, the movies consistently make a tidy sum at the box office, even despite mixed-to-negative reviews. Though Step Up 3D made surprisingly good use of its 3D gimmick, the series hinges too often on terrible acting and, strangely enough, nowhere near enough dancing. It's as though the people writing these movies believe that people actually go to see them for the story... The fifth movie, ludicrously titled Step Up: All In, brings together various characters from the previous movies for another dance-off, this time in Las Vegas, though shouldn't in any way deviate from the bland (yet oddly successful) formula which has kept it going this long.
