Where to begin? The premise and steampunk style might be too "weird" for the mainstream, there are few name actors among its cast, it's got a no-name director, has suffered from utterly mediocre marketing and is being released during the aforementioned Christmas bloodbath, where it has by far the lowest visibility of all the movies vying for audience custom.
