Release Date: May 8th The Plot: Little is actually known about the movie to date, with only a small plot blurb being released, but it's more than enough to earn it a spot on this list. The film follows an uptight, dedicated cop (Reese Witherspoon) who is tasked with protecting the gorgeous, sassy wife of a drug dealer (Sofia Vergara) as they speed through Texas while encountering both bent cops and assassins looking to take them out. Why It's Awful: For starters, right down to promotional pictures showing the pair handcuffed together, this movie sounds awfully familiar to the Jennifer Aniston-Gerard Butler flop The Bounty Hunter from a few years ago, with the main difference being that it's two women, so there presumably won't be a romantic angle (but everyone can dream). It reeks of lazy buddy movie formula that will likely try to coast on the charisma and squabbling between its co-stars, but that probably won't be enough.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
