5. Noomi Rapace Gets More Screen Time In Alien: Covenant Viral Video Than The Actual Movie

Prometheus fans were naturally excited when it was revealed that, despite previous reports, Noomi Rapace would be reprising her Elizabeth Shaw role in the movie...at least until they saw it for themselves.

As it turned out, Rapace barely appears in the film at all, showing up only as an obscured hologram and then as a corpse, ultimately having more screen time in The Crossing prologue video released to YouTube shortly before the movie came out.

It felt like a defiant middle finger to those who wanted to see Shaw's story concluded, and while few expected her to have a large role, killing her off in such arbitrary, dismissive fashion was hugely disappointing to those who actually got invested in her journey. Thanks, Ridley Scott...
