9. The Aliens - The War of the Worlds
A giant alien life force comes to earth in the form of lightening strikes and begins to either zap all the poor humans out of existence or take them captive. Getting zapped is preferable in this scenario. Those who are taken get put into a meat grinder where their bodies are chewed and spewed across the Earth to form red vegetation the aliens use to live on. By studying their tactics it is clear that these aliens have been planning this attack for a very long time. Which is totally why they chose to come to a planet where the atmosphere was toxic and would kill them through contact. Kind of like those aliens in that movie Signs, who decided invading a planet covered mostly by water, which is deadly to them was a good idea. Clearly there's hope for humanity's survival in the battle amongst the stars yet. Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning can fool these aliens by hiding behind a mirror in the basement and the alien just looks at the mirror like its never seen one before. Clearly not the brightest extraterrestials in the galaxy.
