Over an hour of scenes were cut from Mr And Mrs Smith, making us wonder how unbearable the full film would have been. Much of this involved a final showdown with the pair€'s bosses, played by Keith David and Angela Bassett, smartly cut because not every film needs a video game-style boss fight.

Many traces of these cut scenes remain in the trailer, suggesting this third act defining subplot wasn't cut until rather late on in production. What€'s odd is that the final film came in at two hours, meaning the cut that had these scenes in would have really tested the audience€'s bladder (and patience). It would've been cool to see Keith David as an assassin boss, but as the film was already too long, this scene being cut isn't as stupid as some on this list.
