9. The Smurfs 2 (2013) - Anton Yelchin

RottenTomatoes Score: 14% The Plot: Smurfette (Katy Perry) gets kidnapped, so the Smurfs team up to rescue her before the evil Gargamel (Hank Azaria) can use her to transform his impostor Smurfs (called Naughties) into actual Smurfs. But let's face it, do you really need to know the plot? Why It Sucks: It's lowest common denominator fare aimed at the very youngest of audiences, and simply lacks any depth or invention that make it even slightly tolerable to the poor parents who were nagged into seeing it. Hank Azaria is, again, the only actor even really trying, though at least in Yelchin's case, his role as Clumsy Smurf is a voice-only part, so he gets to mostly maintain his dignity as the majority of people won't even remember or ever realise that he's actually in it. Still, it's not exactly what any actor wants on their CV, so hopefully that easy animated payday was worth it. You're better than this, Anton!
