15 Biggest Box-Office Movie Bombs Of The Decade

7. Monster Trucks (2017)

Come on, Hollywood. Like, seriously, what were you thinking? Who sees a script for a movie called "Monster Trucks", about a monster truck that - get this - is actually a monster, and thinks it's going to be the next big thing?

Well, Paramount Pictures, apparently. The idea of someone discovering an alien creature that morphs with their car, and their attempts to protect it, obviously has shades of E.T. running through its DNA, but it's not the kind of story audiences were gagging for in 2017, especially done this poorly and marketed this shoddily.

It feels like a project that wouldn't fly at the start of the decade never mind now (especially now that Bumblebee has pretty much realised this premise perfectly), and it lost Paramount over $120 million. If you ask me, they got off lightly.
