9. Fifty Shades Freed

Fifty Shades Freed is at once the worst entry into the BSDM franchise and also the most aware of its own badness.

Embarrassingly over-qualified director James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross) is charged with steering the sexy shenanigans into erotic thriller territory in a film which climaxes with kidnapping and gunfire. That'll really get the juices flowing.

But by finally embracing the camp, one wouldn't be surprised if Freed ends up the Showgirls of its generation in the near-future.

The soul-sappingly awful one-liners, the decidedly un-sexy sex scenes, the rampant product placement, the creepy central relationship and the chemistry-free pairing of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson all adds up to a trainwreck that's almost as hilarious as it is problematic.

"Best" Moment: The hysterical closing montage, highlighting the "sexiest" and most "romantic" moments from Christian (Jamie Dornan) and Ana's (Dakota Johnson) twisted relationship throughout the wildly misguided series.

Ellie Goulding's hit tune "Love Me like You Do" - written specifically for the franchise - is almost catchy enough to make it work.
