13. Osbourne Cox (Burn After Reading)
One could be forgiven for cutting Ex-CIA Analyst, Osbourne Cox, a little bit of slack. His wife is making love to George Clooney on HIS boat, he's been fired from his job due to a drink problem and when he comes to write his memoirs, he realizes he has very little to share with the world. Still, his ever present middle finger to the world serves only to shorten his fuse and he takes it out on anyone that happens to be in earshot - namely, Brad Pitt's goofy personal trainer, Chad Feldheimer (alias: Mr Black!). John Malkovich plays 'man on the edge' superbly in this Cohen Brother's Comedy Noir, to the point that when it comes for Cox's chance to bury an axe into the back of Richard Jenkins' head, you could definitely have understood his motives!
And to demonstrate my point... "No. No, I'm sorry, I don't know the number to, uh, my savings account because believe it or not I don't spend my entire day sitting around trying to memorize the f***ing numbers to my f***ing bank accounts! Moron!" - *Osbourne Cox proceeds to pick up a hatchett.* - enough said.
