On the pure terms of sheer lasting critical and cultural impact, there's few films in any Star Trek actor's filmography that can match the Wellington-born star's entries in Peter Jackson's seminal high fantasy trilogy.

The Lord of the Rings arguably rediscovered and redefined the cinematic long-form epic as pure escapist entertainment and though many of its talented ensemble have gone on to other great things, their legacy will likely remain permanently entwined with their appearances here.

As Eomer, Third Marshal of the Riddermark and the leader of the Riders of Rohan, Urban first appears in middle entry The Two Towers - and while his role is relatively brief across the whole series, he leaves a lasting impression (with more material focused on him to be found in the Extended Editions, which help fill in further gaps).

Something of a culture vulture, Mr Steel can historically be found in three places; the local cinema, the local stadium or the local chip shop. He is an avowed fan of franchise films, amateur cricket and power-chords.
