15 Harry Potter Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie

10. Draco Malfoy

Severus Snape Goblet Of Fire
Warner Bros.

Who doesn't love a good redemption story? There is something about showing a different side to a typical villain in the way that Arthur Fleck and Elphaba have enjoyed in Joker and Wicked respectively, and Draco Malfoy would make a perfect addition to this list.

The character was Harry Potter's main enemy at Hogwarts for the first four years before the return of Voldemort, and though he became a Death Eater at a very young age, he and his parents defected from the Dark Lord's side just before the end of the war, earning themselves a life outside of Azkaban.

Though we do them running at the end of The Deathly Hallows Part II, we don't really see Malfoy's full redemption, just the start of it. He ultimately settles down and marries Astoria Greengrass, together raising their son Scorpius to believe that muggles and half bloods aren't inferior to them in any way.

Draco deserves to have his redemption seen by the mainstream audience, and not just those who have seen the Cursed Child. Not only does he experience a radical 180 in terms of his beliefs, he also raises his child in defiance of his parents. Who wouldn't want to see Lucius Malfoy have his radical views spat back in his face by his own son?
