15 Hilariously Awful SyFy Original Movies

Attack of the Sabretooth is clearly trying to be Jurassic Park: you've got a remote island where an eccentric man named Niles wants to open Primal Park, an amusement park and zoo full of sabre-tooth cats. A bunch of investors are there, Niles is urged to shut down the park, and then there's a computer system failure that causes the gates to open and release the sabertooths. Sound familiar? Oh, and there's a character named Alan and another character named Grant. 

Very subtle.

This one has the distinct honor of containing maybe the worst special effects of any SyFy movie. The sabretooth itself looks bad, a giant blob of unconvincing CGI fur, but that's not even the worst part. There's an incredible scene at the end where Niles is being chased by a sabretooth, so he runs outside and stands in front of a giant statue. The statue looks so laughably terrible that it really does seem like they legitimately didn't finish animating it.

Then rather than the sabretooth itself killing Niles, it bangs on the door which causes one of the teeth in the statue to fall and impale him. It's really hard to find a scene in any movie that looks as horrible as this one.
