15 Huge 2020 Movies That Have Snuck Under The Radar

9. The French Dispatch

Wes Anderson Isle Of Dogs
Fox Searchlight

While West Side Story is undoubtedly going to be one of the most interesting musicals to drop in 2020, there's a good chance it will be completely overshadowed by The French Dispatch.

Wes Anderson's first live-action film since 2014's The Grand Budapest Hotel, Dispatch has lined up a ridiculously good cast. Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet, Tilda Swinton, Lea Seydoux, Willem Dafoe, Benicio Del Toro, Henry Winkler, Kate Winslet, and Jeffrey Wright are all starring alongside Anderson regulars like Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Adrian Brody and Jason Schwartzman. Dune has a pretty good claim to having the most stacked cast of 2019, but The French Dispatch isn't far behind.

Not too much is known about the plot other than it's a musical set in France during World War 2, but with this director and this on-screen talent, you shouldn't need a synopsis to get you excited.
