When is a movie starring Lance Henriksen, Danny Trejo, Bill Moseley and PJ Soles totally unwatchable? When its a DVD sequel to an Uwe Boll film. Eschewing the scale of its predecessor, Part 2 takes place mostly inside a rustic cabin where Edward Carnby (Rick Yune, standing in for Christian Slater) is being haunted by a witch that wants to suck out his soul. Which, come to think of it, makes her no better than directors Michael Roesch and Paul Scheerer. Anyway, Henriksen plays the go-to ghostbuster, but hes in so little of the finished film that he mustve refused to participate in the boring chase scenes and the not-very-special effects sequences. In fact, if you edited the picture down to his scenes, youd still have a coherent narrative, plus youd save others the trauma of sitting through the entire thing.
