15. Nebula (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
Nebula will be played by former Doctor Who companion Karen Gillan, who recently revealed at Comic Con that she has shaved her head for the role (humorously arriving to the Guardians of the Galaxy panel in a wig before removing it to reveal her new look). She is a brutal space pirate and mercenary who is an employee of Thanos. In the movie, she is set to have a very complex relationship with Zoe Saldana's Gamora - a former villain turned Guardian of the Galaxy team member. Nebula is a skilled unarmed combatant and a master strategist who boasts an array of gadgets on her person, such as energy blasters on her wrist and a device that allows her to disguise her appearance. It will be very interesting to see how she looks in the movie, as she is a pale blue-skinned alien in the comics and we're all curious to see why Gillan shaved her hair for the role when Nebula's predominant appearance includes long, black hair.
