15 Most Disappointing Movies Of 2016
13. Ratchet & Clank
Fans of the iconic PlayStation platformer franchise were optimistic that the movie adaptation might be the first to break the video game film curse, considering that franchise writers and the game's original voice actors would both be taking part in the movie.
Sadly, Ratchet and Clank was produced on a meager $20 million budget, resulting in lackluster animation, while the plot was soporifically dull and there was an over-eager focus on childish humour, presumably to appeal to the very youngest kids.
It may not be the flat-out worst video game movie released in 2016, but it was easily the most boring, and all the more disappointing because a fantastic new Ratchet and Clank video game released just weeks earlier.
