15 Most Important Film Sequels Coming In 2017

Next year sees the release of Wonder Woman sometime before the eventual big team-up, but Justice League is presumably picking up after the events of BVS making it more of a sequel, so stop complaining.

The non-trailer trailer shown at comic-con shows a now morally realigned Bruce Wayne putting together a superhero team to take on some threats he saw in his dreams...or was it a premonition? Whatever it was it has shaken him to his core and so making some new friends who also like to dress up seems like the best course of action. It should be noted he does tell a lot of jokes though so maybe it hasn't shaken him that much.

Despite the current mess the DCEU is in, it's a difficult task not to to hold out hope for such a potentially enjoyable banding together of so many beloved characters and with the appointment of comic book aficionado Geoff Johns as creative lead there is a touch of sunshine peeking through the dark, saturated clouds. The first official image is solid evidence of this, with a touch of Sun literally peeking through the clouds along with a slightly happier looking Superman who has finally learnt to smile. Seems a near death experience was exactly what he needed.

Look, nobody is sh*tting on the DCEU for the sake of it and every comic book and comic book movie fan worth their salt wants nothing more than a great DC movie. Hopefully, next year's Justice League will be it.
