9. 2017 Cloverfield Movie
A mysterious project, known as God Particle was recently pushed back by Paramount from February next year all the way to October. Seemingly not much to get too excited about, the mystery level peaked when title of the film was changed from God Particle to 2017 Cloverfield Movie. That should get your attention.
Before you head to the comment section, yes, this unnamed Cloverfield film could well be a spin-off from the Cloverfield franchise rather than a sequel, but we still don't know how or if these films will link together, so for now let's remain open to it.
As is usually the case with super secretive J J Abrams, not too much is known about the film itself, however we do know it will be set in a space station during a catastrophic event on Earth below which could well be the monster or aliens from the last two films.
Sounding similar to this years excellent 10 Cloverfield Lane's claustrophobic atmosphere, Cloverfield 3 promises to be another mystery wrapped in an enigma that Abrams has become quite adept at (the Khan secret aside).
