3. Howard The Duck's Romance With A Human Woman

Who decided George Lucas could be trusted with more money? Sure, he's the guy who made those original Star Wars films, but between those and the ill-fated prequels? Guy was nothing but trouble. His biggest flop was Howard The Duck, the eighties adaptation of the iconoclastic Marvel book produced by Lucas.

It's also a disturbingly sexual film considering its protagonist is an anthropomorphic duck brought to life alternately using puppets and dwarves in fowl costumes. It gets off to a bad start when the film opens with a female talking duck having a bath and showing off her bare duck breasts. Why would a duck need breasts. Why sexualise a duck.

It manages to get much, much worse however – and beats Tank Girl at its own game – by predicating the film's plot on Lea Thompson from Back To The Future, playing a human, being in love with Howard The Duck. She's crazy about him. She really wants to have sex with this anthropomorphic duck. Have you seen a duck penis? Google it. Then cry.
