Mad Max: Fury Road was easily one of the best surprises of the year. Despite an elongated production period and the failure of almost every other sequel/reboot released recently, the rebirth of the Road Warrior was a triumphant blend of insanity, creativity and entertainment. And in Immortan Joe, it also boasted one of the most memorable villains of the entire year. Inevitably, he also deserved one of the best - and most disgusting - deaths, as his face mask was torn out, leaving him - for one brief on-screen moment - without a face. It was one of those brief "did I just see that" shock flashes, and the model used shows just why it had so much grim impact...
