Nothing sells comedy quite like a man with a hilariously small micro-penis, and that is firmly the case for Adam Scott's sex comedy The Overnight - a fantastic and unfairly under-seen gem that followed up a debut at Sundance with only a limited cinematic release. The film is basically an escalation comedy, as a playdate between two children becomes the tool of deception for an eccentric couple (Jason Schwartzman and Judith Grodeche) to convince two newcomers to town to have a foursome with them. The tit for tat, as it were, is joyous to watch as they stumble towards the truth, but the complication of Scott's "body issue" is just brilliant, and leads to an intensely cringeworthy moment when he and Schwartzman's well-endowed host dance side by side to assert Scott's masculinity... Adam Scott would probably like you to know that he used a prosthetic to give the impression of a lack of size, and that Schwartzman also had some assistance. But that doesn't make it any less funny.
