6. Iron Man - Stane's Secrets
Marvel's Cinematic Universe is the most successful movie franchise of all time, and as a result, fans have spent a long time closely examining each new title for possible hints to the studio's future plans.
Marvel have become notorious for littering their world with Easter eggs and small references to both the comic book source material and the other characters and movies in their catalogue, and even the first title in their now expansive cinematic universe contained a number of these moments.
This isn't in reference to seeing Captain America's shield in the background in a scene in Stark's workshop, though.
The references here were actually much more subtle and difficult to spot. Obviously, fans found them pretty quickly.
In a scene where Pepper Potts is searching through Obadiah Stane's computer, a quick pause and a though zoom reveals that he has been shipping missiles on the "MSC Lebowski", and "THE00DUDE" is clearly visible in the attached barcode.
A reference to Jeff Bridges' famous turn as The Dude in The Big Lebowski, it was a fun way to pay homage to the villain's previous role, and fans can't help but check it out for themselves.
