Emma Frost appeared in X-Men: First Class, played by January Jones. She possessed two very different abilities - those being telepathic powers and the ability to turn her body into diamond. She couldn't use both of those powers at the same time, however. Her telepathy was such that she was able to block a young Charles Xavier's telepathic probing. Although he wasn't as powerful at the time as he would go on to become, this is still a very impressive feat on Frost's part. She could also create vivid telepathic illusions (such as when she made a Russian General think he was in bed with her), fire psionic blasts and communicate telepathically with others. Her diamond form made her incredibly durable, increase her physical strength and rendered her mind immune to the telepathic powers of others.
