4. Three Identical Strangers

This documentary about three estranged triplets who coincidentally found themselves reunited in adulthood is all the more WTF because, of course, it actually happened.

Now, it would be criminal to spoil the doc's big revelations, but needless to say, the reason behind these triplets being separated at birth is a jaw-dropper, and one that few will see coming.

To that end, you're best off just watching the film blind and not viewing any trailers for the maximum WTF effect.

Even outside of its shocks, though, this is a film filled with aching human tragedy, while asking some deeply uncomfortable questions about society, class, family and identity.
