3. The Yellow Birds (Jennifer Aniston)

Continuing her foray into more serious, dramatic fare, 2016 will see Jennifer Aniston appear in an adaptation of Kevin Powers' novel The Yellow Birds. Drawing on Powers' own experiences of the war in Iraq, it tells the story of two young soldiers, John Bartle (Alden Ehrenreich) and Daniel Murphy (Tye Sheridan), who forge a strong bond and vow to keep each other alive. Aniston will play Murphy's mother, Maureen, to whom Bartle makes a promise before they depart for war, one which he struggles to keep. The cast is rounded out by Jack Huston and Toni Collette, and will be directed by Alexandre Moors. Release Date: TBC
