The Twist: Protagonist Robert Langdon (Hanks) and sidekick Dr. Sienna Brooks (Jones) end up as lovers before the end credits roll.
Why It Could Ruin The Movie: A romantic arc may not sound like the makings of a demented plot twist, but when you consider that the pair were the furthest thing from this in the book, it certainly would be a twisted perversion of the source material.
I mean, does anyone really want to see a 59-year-old Hanks and 32-year-old Jones necking each other? Doubtful.
How Likely Is It?: Not at all. For starters, it's tremendously unlikely that author Dan Brown would sign off on such a heavy diversion from the source material, plus though studios are seemingly obsessed with shoehorning romance into almost any movie they can, even they surely appreciate how icky most audiences would find this pairing. Moreover, it's hard to believe that actors like Hanks and Jones would really go for this. 2/10
