The Twist: As Noomi Rapace isn't returning for the movie, her Elizabeth Shaw character will be killed off.
Why It Could Ruin The Movie: Because it's really, really lazy. Wouldn't it be more interesting to have the Covenant crew follow Shaw's journey to "paradise" only to discover on their own what horrors lie ahead, while Shaw's fate is left ambiguous?
How Likely Is It?: It's such a horror movie cliche that Ridley Scott will probably avoid it, because with characters like this, isn't it always better to leave the door wide open where possible in case the actor wants to return down the line?
Shaw's death wouldn't add anything to the film, and it would be perfectly organic to leave her fate unknown even to Michael Fassbender's android David. Maybe she fled attackers in the middle of the night, and David, being nothing more than a head (at least at the time), had no idea where she went. Simple. 4/10
