The Twist: Even though he apparently died in the third movie way back in 2006, John Kramer (Tobin Bell) aka Jigsaw is somehow still alive and back to terrorise another generation of poor saps who take their lives for granted.

Why It Could Ruin The Movie: Look, the Saw movies have always strained credibility to its breaking point, but bringing Jigsaw back to life after we physically saw his head sliced open with a saw and the subsequent autopsy is just ridiculous.

"But brain transplant!", desperate fans might cry. No, just no.

How Likely Is It?: Even the guys behind the Saw franchise know where the line is...probably. It's much easier to just feature Jigsaw in flashbacks and say that he left a few extra cassette tapes lying around, and that's probably what will happen. Probably. 3/10
