9. Hank Pym Dies - Ant-Man

The Twist: Though many suspect that the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), might be getting into his old Ant-Man suit to help out Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) when he gets in trouble in the movie's climax, the real twist will come when Pym dies during the final fight with Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket (Corey Stoll). Why It Could Ruin The Movie: Because Michael Douglas is an awesome actor, and it would be a huge shame to see him written out of the MCU so quickly. The hope is that he'll stick around long enough to have an interaction or two with Tony Stark in particular, though it wouldn't be much of a shock if he ended up dying to protect Lang during Ant-Man's final fight. Plus, Pym is such an iconic comic book character that he deserves better than to be introduced and killed off in the same damn movie.
