10. The New Mutants
This is a very similar case to Chaos Walking; it was a film that had been in productions for years. You would keep hearing about The New Mutants and just wonder when, if ever, it was actually going to come out.
The New Mutants eventually arrived two years after it was meant to be released, and it became one of the only major theatrical releases of 2020, which is very telling. Fox dumped it in cinemas when people were least likely to go and see it, and as anyone who has actually seen it knows, there's a very good reason for that: this movie is awful.
As you'd expect from a film that has undergone so many reshoots and production troubles, The New Mutants is a poorly edited mess that also feels incomplete since those planned sequels aren't going to happen now that the Fox X-Men series is finished.
Still, the PG-13 rating, bad horror sequences and terrible script strongly suggest this would never have been a good movie anyhow, so it seems like this one was always doomed to some degree.
