15 Stupidest Movie Moments Of 2015

11. Owen Wilson Throws Two Children Across A Roof - No Escape

The Moment: Jack Dwyer (Owen Wilson) and his wife Annie (Lake Bell) are desperately trying to get their two daughters to the safety of an adjacent building before the anonymous Asian terrorists slaughter them, so Jack has a bright idea: just throw the kids, right? After Annie leaps to the other building, Jack throws the youngest daughter in glorious slow-mo into Annie's arms, and when he attempts to throw the eldest, she panics, nearly causing them both to fall. Jack tries again and succeeds this time, before making his own leap to join his family. Why It's Stupid: No Escape is a fairly enjoyable, no-nonsense B-movie, but this scene is just one step too cringe-worthy. The cheesy slow motion, unconvincing green screen and sheer absurdity of the scenario combine to make it an embarrassing, unintentionally hilarious moment in a movie that's otherwise savagely brutal. The against-type casting of Wilson certainly doesn't make it any less silly-looking, that's for sure.
