The Premise: After a shark attack, a surfer (Blake Lively) gets stranded on a rock 200 yards from shore, and must find a way to safety as the great white continues to stalk her.
Why It Looks Awful: Though it's an interestingly minimalist concept, the trailer doesn't suggest it'll be much more than "Blake Lively looking sexy on a rock for 90 minutes".
It looks like the novelty aspect will wear itself out quickly, it's written by a guy versed in straight-to-video and TV movies, and is directed by the hit-and-miss Jaume Collet-Serra (House of Wax, Orphan, Unknown, Non-Stop, Run All Night).
Why It'll Make A Profit: It can't have cost more than a few million to make, the high concept is easy to market, and people love shark attack movies. This could even end up being one of the year's sleeper hits if it's sold right.
