9. Piranha 3DD

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 13% Why It Sucks: Following up 2010's surprise smash hit horror film, the hilariously-titled Piranha 3DD just wasn't able to top the demented brilliance of the "original". There's no gore in this movie that lives up to the hilariously grisly finale of the original, the nudity can't top Kelly Brook's disrobing, and the self-awareness is more frequently obnoxious than funny. Why It'll Become A Cult Classic: That said, there are those who make the argument that Piranha 3DD is simply more of the same, and that's no bad thing. After all, Ving Rhames (who is presumed dead in the first film) returns with prosthetic legs that have shotguns attached, there are cameos for the likes of David Hasselhoff and Christopher Lloyd, and the final revelation (that the piranhas has learned to walk on land) is an utterly demented set up for a third film. Even though it's a disappointing follow-up, its self-aware humour will allow it to endure with horror fans forever more.
