Vampire's Kiss is a very bizarre film that features one of the most outrageous Nicolas Cage performances of all time. It tells the story of an eccentric (obviously, this is Nic Cage after all) literary agent who begins to slowly lose his mind after he's lead to believe that he's been bitten by a vampire. Among the scenery-chewing antics are Cage running down the street screaming 'I'm a Vampire! I'm a Vampire' and generally losing his cool with his employees, in particular his long-suffering secretary. Cage's character also, at one point, eats a cockroach. Now, this is Hollywood, so nobody actually expected Cage to eat the cockroach. In fact, the script originally called for Cage to slurp down some raw egg but, wanting to make a name for himself, he decided to bite the bullet and eat the real thing. Twice. A call from PETA followed and, for what it's worth, Cage has said it was the most disgusting thing he's ever done in his life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0iV5vIABX0
