11. He Nearly Died Performing ANOTHER Stunt For The Expendables
Maybe The Expendables isn't a film at all. Maybe it's a non-fictional documentary following the lives of a steroid-riddled bunch of outcasts looking to wreak havoc... Whatever the case, it's about time somebody sent a health and safety officer down there to check out the set, because yet again, Statham could've plunged to his death doing a stunt. Sylvester Stallone was supposed to be the gunner onboard the Expendables' plane, but swapped with Statham on the day of filming. After shooting concluded, the pilot noticed that the engine had been leaking, and that they were lucky to have remained in the air. The plane was quickly scrapped. And still Statham continues to do his own stunts.
