7. Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

The Pitch: The apparently "final" entry into the Paranormal Activity series and the first to be released in 3D, The Ghost Dimension will aim to tie up all the loose ends about Katie and Kristi's sinister past, as a camera somehow now allows the protagonists to see into the titular dimension. Why It Could Score 0%: The title sounds like a straight-to-video movie, it's being directed by a first-timer, it's been written by four people who have never written a movie in the series before, the plot sounds like pretty much every other PA movie, it looks insanely low-budget due to the introduction of CGI-heavy sequences without the money to make it look good, and the 3D gimmick sounds, well, terrible. The fourth PA movie seemed to indicate the beginning of the end for the series, scoring just 24% with critics, and given the well-noted production problems this movie has had coming to the screen, it's hard to expect much more than a few lame answers to questions most viewers stopped caring about at least three or four years ago.
