15 Upcoming Horror Films You Should Be Excited About

Horror anthologies can be pretty incredible, as proven recently by Trick 'r Treat, and this new one sounds like it should live up to that legacy. 

Like Trick 'r Treat, Tales of Halloween takes place on Halloween night and follows 10 stories all occurring in the same town. Unlike Trick 'r Treat, though, each segment is from a different director. The 10 directors include Darren Lynn Bousman (Repo! The Genetic Opera), Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy), Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!) and Neil Marshall (The Descent).

Not enough horror movies are actually about Halloween, but this looks like a pretty fun one to add to the collection. Horror anthologies are also great for packing in a lot of memorable moments and not stretching things out, and 10 shorts seems like a perfect amount to keep the movie going along at a nice pace.

Tales of Halloween will be released on October 30th. For a glimpse at the movie, check out the official trailer just released during Comic-Con.
