15 Weirdest Ever Batman Movie Tie-In Toys

2. Kryptonite Strike Blaster - Batman V Superman

Overheard in the clearance area of a toy store in March 2021, five years after the release of Batman v Superman.

"Hey dad, what's this?" (child produces the Kryptonite Strike Blaster.)

"Oh cool. That's the Kryponite gun that Batman was going to kill Superman with when they finally fought. You were only five then."

"Wait, Batman fought Superman? I thought they were friends?"

"Well, they are now, but in the movie Batman hated Superman. It was a huge deal that we waited years to see!"

Child, puzzled - "Wait, doesn't Batman blow stuff up all the time? And I thought he doesn't use guns."

Dad, trying to think logically - "Yeah, Batman does blow some stuff up sometimes. But not whole blocks. Also, he used guns in that one movie. Including a Kryptonite gun."

"I thought Batman swore never to use guns. I don't get it."

"He only used his guns to kill bad guys, that's all. And he shot at Superman a couple times. But then at the end he shot the Kryptonite at Doomsday instead!"

"What?! Batman KILLED guys? And he was gonna KILL Superman? What happened?"

Dad, sighing - "Their moms had the same name so they became friends."

Child, thinking. "I think I'll just put this back and get a Spider-Man."
